Providing a touch-screen terminal, that doesn’t require a keyboard, the UP-X500 is compact enough to fit seamlessly – and discreetly – into any point of sale area. The screen itself features a 12.1", full-colour LCD display, creating an attractive, user-friendly interface that minimises operator training.

The colour LCD touch screen utilises a twin-friction hinge and ensures that the display is flexible enough to adjust when required, but will remain firmly in position when being operated.

For security, each console is available with the unique Sharp contactless clerk key system. Every single key is unique, protected by a 64-bit encryption code, and need only be passed near the sensor to gain full access.
