CRS Tablet Pos installed at HARP
HARP the Charity helping homeless people in Southend on Sea recently opened a new donation centre in the grounds of the Bradbury Centre. The new donation centre allows donors to drop off anything from food to clothing to medical supplies. Donations can be for service users directly or to be resold in the Charity’s shops to raise additional funds.
The brief given to CRS was to supply a lost cost solution that could capture donations, including Gift Aid where applicable and report back into central systems at Head Office.
CRS Tablet Pos was deployed using an 8″ tablet connected to a receipt printer (to give donors a receipt for their donation) and a signature pad (to capture confirmation of the donation). This solution not only saved money but also space, which, as with most Charity’s is at a premium.
